Black and Latino students feel pain of segregation

Veteran education advocate Jonathan Kozol says that at the heart of the dropout crisis is segregation, writes reporter Sara Neufeld in The Sun's InsideEd blog. Kozol recently told an audience in Baltimore that segregated urban schools make black and Latino children believe they are not worthy of the same education as white children.
