Geithner sees "encouraging signs" but more work ahead

Confronted with mixed signals from the economy, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said he sees "encouraging signs" of what might be a recovery but warned that it will take some time "for us to work through this." It is too early to tell whether the U.S. economy would need another stimulus to return to growth, he said.
