4 biofuel-related projects net EPA's innovation awards

Four biofuel-related developers were among the 34 enterprises awarded $2.38 million under the Environmental Protection Agency's Small Business Innovative Research program. Among the four companies is IntAct Laboratories of Cambridge, Mass., which won $46,770 for its bio-electrochemical systems for treatment of wastewater resulting from ethanol production.
