Health law supports wellness initiatives

As part of the health care reform law, companies may offer rewards equal to 30% of the cost of coverage to workers who participate in wellness programs, up from the previous 20% limit. "This is exciting. It puts the emphasis on health improvement, not just paying for illness and injuries," said Helen Darling, president of the National Business Group on Health.
