Interpublic is adding to its integrated media planning offerings with UM Inside, a joint effort by McCann Erickson, New York, and Universal McCann. The effort will transform the creative process as well, McCann New York President Thom Gruhler said. "The primary importance of UM Inside is to use media behaviors to direct creative thinking at the very earliest stage of the planning process," he said.
