$120M allocated for upgrades to San Jose, Calif., convention center

The San Jose Convention Center in California's Silicon Valley will be expanded and upgraded in a $120 million project scheduled for completion in 2013. Among a range of improvements, 125,000 square feet will be added in a bid to draw more major conventions and other events to the center. Work is expected to start this summer.
