Obesity raises risk of many cancers, for many reasons

Obesity raises the risk of many types of cancer, including colorectal, pancreatic, esophageal and gallbladder. Dr. Kate Wolin of Siteman Cancer Center said the way obesity affects cancer risk is different for each type, noting some cancers might be affected by fat tissue's hormonal effect or by inflammation.
