An elementary school in Montclair, N.J., is using technology to encourage more students to walk or ride their bikes to school. The school's new Boltage system has a solar-powered sensor that reads students' identification tags as they approach school. The system also tracks students' mileage in a database that can be viewed by students and their parents. "We already have more than 75 of our families registered to participate," Principal Adunni Anderson said.
