Using technology to excite students about science

Computer games and online simulations are gaining momentum as a way to excite students about science lessons. Experts say students will be more motivated to learn using online tools that allow them to experience science in a way that would be impossible without technology. "Simulations and games can motivate learners with challenges and rapid feedback and tailor instruction to individual learners' needs and interests," a recent report from the National Research Council states.
