Content marketing is now a universal tactic, according to an Outbrain State of Content Marketing report, with 100% of brand and agency marketers surveyed saying they practice it one way or another. Video was the predominant form (87%), followed by blog posts (67%), articles and slideshows/photo galleries (44% each). Social media (96%) eclipsed paid search (78%) as the dominant marketing channel. A combined 82% of respondents said they plan to increase or greatly increase content marketing efforts this year.
