Tracie McMillan's book "The American Way of Eating: Undercover at Walmart, Applebee's, Farm Fields and the Dinner Table" examines food systems and their problems, from the farm to the table, and initiatives to improve access. She argues that structural problems in the food system are bigger factors than individual choices and that people mistakenly accept that "good, healthy food is for rich people."
