A workbench-sized chemical analytics device developed by Picarro is being used for various applications in multiple industries and research institutions. The cavity ring spectrometer is used by Pacific Gas & Electric in a vehicle to check for natural gas pipeline leaks. "We expect to see more interest from the food, agriculture and natural resource industries, as well as the renewable resource industry," said Iain Green, Picarro's director of business development.
