Advance Steel software is said to create a BIM bridge

GRAITEC's Advance Steel and Advance Concrete software, which was acquired by Autodesk, specializes in concrete and steel structures and is used mostly in Europe, according to this article. Autodesk Advance Steel contains updates to the product from the GRAITEC acquisitions and integrates with Autodesk Revit, Autodesk says. "Revit itself does a great job with concrete, but steel is a place where our customers have wanted us to do more," said Amar Hanspal, an Autodesk executive. "GRAITEC is equivalent to Tekla."
