Caspian pipeline consortium to discuss expansion plans

Caspian Pipeline Consortium shareholders will meet to discuss the group's plan to expand the pipeline's capacity to 1.4 million barrels per day by the end of 2015. BG Group, a CPC partner, expects the plan will be delayed into 2016, but CPC spokesman Alexandr Baboshkin said the group is trying to meet its original target. The consortium includes energy majors Royal Dutch Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Lukoil and Rosneft.
