Ga. SNA competition features new recipes

School nutrition professionals recently competed in the Georgia School Nutrition Association's State Culinary Competition. One school nutrition professional, who was among the competition's finalists, prepared chocolate muffin tops made with whole wheat flour and used applesauce as a sweetener. Another finalist prepared a cold vegetable medley that originally used produce harvested from the school's garden.
