Food industry upgrades security measures

The Chicago Tribune reports on efforts by federal agencies, farmers and grocers to upgrade security to reduce the prospect of sabotage of the U.S. food supply. Since Sept. 11, 2001, the USDA and FDA have introduced voluntary guidelines addressing security at the thousands of food manufacturing and processing operations across the country.
