Bush promotes expanded NAEP and new vocational ed program

During a visit to Arkansas yesterday, President George W. Bush called for the testing of 12th-grade students using the NAEP, which is currently administered to the nation's fourth- and eighth-graders. The President also proposed replacing the Perkins vocational education program with a new one emphasizing technical studies.
