Two studies show positive results for ADHD treatment

Positive results from two studies were reported for a once-a-day skin patch being developed by Noven Pharmaceuticals and Shire Pharmaceuticals for treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The treatment was well tolerated and the objectives of both studies were achieved, Noven said, adding the data will be included in an amended drug application pending at the U.S. FDA. The patch is intended for children ages 6 to 12 who suffer from ADHD.
