Study: Second-hand smoke increases diabetes precursor risk

Second-hand smoke could play an important role in increasing a person's risk of developing glucose intolerance, which can lead to diabetes, according to a new study. Smokers have the highest risk of developing glucose intolerance, but even nonsmokers who were regularly exposed to passive smoke also were at a high risk, according to the study.
