Study shows more MRSA cases being brought into hospitals

A recent study found that an increasing number of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus cases in hospitals are being brought into the facilities from the community. The majority of MRSA cases in hospitals, however, still originate in hospitals. The study also found that community-associated strains of MRSA do not appear to present any more danger than traditional, hospital-associated strains.
