ATR eyes larger turboprop model

ATR says it has received "some very positive feedback" from potential airline customers regarding a new, larger turboprop aircraft. "There are a growing number of routes where the 70-seat turboprop is too limited," says ATR's sales chief, referring to the company's workhorse ATR 72 model. John Moore says the aircraft under consideration would "not be a stretch [of the ATR-72] but would be a new airplane."
