Oratory is a performance art, so you can't just delegate to your speechwriter and expect a hit. "A lot of communication has nothing to do with the words," says former U.S. President Bill Clinton. "A lot of it is just your body language, or your tone of voice, or the way you look in your eyes." Clinton likens his speech making to jazz, while Winston Churchill used psalms as his model.
