Kaiser Permanente finds move to e-records reaps rewards

Kaiser Permanente is ahead of the curve when it comes to electronic health records, as all of its medical clinics and two-thirds of its hospitals have gone paperless. Kaiser officials say the switch wasn't easy or cheap, but it has resulted in higher quality patient care and fewer medical errors.
