Tennessee program teaches parents English:

To help parents help their children, educators at a school in Memphis, Tenn., with aid from a Toyota grant, are offering adult English-language classes. "In order for [immigrant] children to succeed, their parents need to be educated and their parents need to learn English and their parents need to have skills," said Sharon Darling, president and founder of the National Center for Family Literacy.
