Software helps elementary-school music students stay on key

Elementary-school students in Minnesota's St. Cloud district are using a software program to improve their singing skills. Students sing along with the program and can tell whether they are on key by following a blue line displayed on a large monitor, where they can also see the percentage of correct notes they hit. "I think the challenge of beating their own score, that is motivating," one music teacher said.
