How virtualization provided budget relief in one district

A Texas school district is taking advantage of desktop virtualization and open-source software to extend the life of its computer equipment amid a tight budget. District technology director Jeremy Fluhmann brought in Virtual Bridges' system Verde, which required some initial infrastructure upgrades but has reduced the need for more frequent and expensive computer replacement.
