The top reasons pet owners avoid veterinary visits

Lack of information and concern about costs are the main reasons some pet owners are taking their animals to the veterinarian less often than they used to, according to the AVMA. Among veterinarian Wendy McClelland's clients, the biggest fear related to visits was a fear of not knowing whether their animals were sick or in pain, or finding out too late to do anything to make their pets better.
