Tablets are becoming an extension of TV, comScore finds

The rapid adoption of tablets last year led to a 282% jump in mobile video, compared to 8% growth for video on PCs, Lynn Bolger, executive vice president advertising solutions at comScore, said at a media conference. Nine in 10 tablet users operate them at home, mostly in the living room and bedroom. Some 53% operate their tablets during TV viewing, with 56% of the subgroup using their tablets for TV-related purposes.
