The FDA is seeking public feedback about its proposed framework, developed with the ONC and the Federal Communications Commission, to regulate health IT applications based on their functionality and risk. Interested stakeholders can submit feedback on the draft report, released Thursday, until July 7. The FDA also plans to hold a public meeting next month, according to Dr. Jeffrey Shuren, director of the agency's device center.
