Lockheed seeks to reduce costs for F-35 maintenance, operations

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking at ways to lower operation and maintenance costs for its F-35 program. "The government is encouraging us to look at ways in which we can reduce the life cycle cost of the aircraft," said Steve O'Bryan, vice president of business development at the manufacturer. "There are lots of opportunities to lower cost."
