More exercise means lower risk of mortality in diabetes

Increased moderate physical activity and higher levels of walking were associated with lower risk of all-cause mortality, but not cardiovascular disease mortality, in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes patients compared with their sedentary counterparts, according to a U.K. study in Diabetes Care.
