Russian syndicate reportedly suspected in Neiman Marcus breach

A Russian syndicate that has eluded U.S. authorities for years and has stolen 160 million credit card numbers from more than 100 companies has been blamed for the recent breach at Neiman Marcus, according to a source. The group was originally the focus in the Target attack as well, but that attack and a similar breach at Michaels Stores are now thought to have been perpetrated by two groups of less-sophisticated hackers.
