Transport projects would suffer under 2015 House Republican budget

The $1.014 trillion 2015 federal budget proposed by Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., has met with criticism from transportation advocates and Democrats. The budget seeks to eliminate Amtrak funding and would force the Department of Transportation to limit its spending "to the amount of money that is brought in by the 18.4 cents per gallon federal gas tax."
