Alaska's disabled students gain reprieve from state test

Alaska high school seniors with disabilities will not have to pass the state's exit exam this spring to graduate from high school. The new rule follows an agreement signed Wednesday to end a lawsuit alleging the test put disabled students at a disadvantage.
