Innovations make it to Hall of Fame

Five innovations of 2007 have already been inducted into the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering's Hall of Fame to applaud their engineering advances, benefits to society, and ability to save lives and improve quality of life. Contact lenses, pulse oximeters, cochlear implants and stimulators, digital hearing aids, and flow cytometry and cell sorters were all included.
