Architect Edward Mazria, founder of Architecture 2030, a nonprofit dedicated to change how buildings are planned and developed, used Google Earth animation to show business and community leaders in Miami how even a relatively small rise in sea level could impact metropolitan Miami. Mazria said the clear solution to the problem is to design buildings so that they aren't reliant on coal-fired power plants.
