DOD lowers cost estimate for Lockheed's Joint Strike Fighter

The DOD said revised estimates for materials, labor and inflation have pushed down the cost of Lockheed Martin's Joint Strike Fighter. However, the Government Accountability Office has suggested that the cost of the plane could increase as the plane starts test flights.
