Fired replacement workers sue Kohler in Arkansas

Weeks after settling a yearlong strike in Searcy, Ark., Kohler Corp. now faces a wrongful-termination suit by 100 replacement employees who lost their jobs when union workers returned to the assembly lines. According to the lawsuit, plant managers said via a memo and e-mail that the temps were "permanent replacement workers" and "permanent Kohler associates" who would not be affected by any settlement with the union. Kohler has until April 14 to respond to the complaint.
