NYC indie Web shop taken over by LBi

Indie Web agency Special Ops Media, New York, has been acquired by European shop LBi in a deal variously estimated to be worth between $20 million and $45 million. LBi, which also owns IconNicholsan, New York, hopes to boost its business in the U.S. with the purchase of Special Ops, according to this article.
