Pharmacies, clinics open at more U.S. airports

Travelers who want access to primary health care are finding that walk-in clinics and pharmacies are opening at more U.S. airports. Walk-in clinics generally offer limited services provided by nurses. "Airports lend themselves as an ideal market for retail-based care because (there are) a lot of people in between flights or who have downtime," noted Tine Hansen-Turton, executive director of the Convenient Care Association, a trade group for retail walk-in clinics.
