Colo. kills measure outlawing claim-denial incentives

A Colorado House committee voted to kill a measure that would have made it illegal for insurers to provide incentives to deny claims. PCI representative Kelly Campbell told the committee that the bill is unnecessary, since insurers don't provide such incentives. She also noted that if a company did do such a thing, Colorado's insurance commissioner is already empowered to penalize them.
