A new take on urban travel

GM, a car company on the brink of collapse, thinks it has seen the future. The PUMA is essentially a Segway scooter that seats two adults. With zero emissions and a tiny footprint, it could be the future of urban transportation -- if cities will build special travel lanes, since the vehicle appears too small for the street and too big for the sidewalk. The prototype can go up to 35 mph.
