Buzz privacy brouhaha lands Google in court

A New York resident is suing Google for revealing the contents of his e-mail contact book without his permission. The suit focuses on Google's recently launched social-networking tool, Buzz, which was initially set to automatically register users' e-mail acquaintances as public social-network contacts.
