Degree program uses dual language model in instruction, assignments

Puerto Rico-based Sistema Universitario Ana G. Mendez boasts what is believed to be the first dual language, postsecondary degree program in the U.S. by offering instruction and assignments with equal use of both Spanish and English. Officials say the move represents an effort to best serve a Spanish-speaking population living in a predominantly English-speaking locale.
