Expert: One positive jobs report won't suffice; stimulus needed

Despite a positive March jobs report -- when the U.S. economy added 162,000 new positions -- Obama administration officials continue to be cautious about the job market, according to Peter Coy, economics editor for Bloomberg BusinessWeek. If lawmakers start to believe that the economy is healing by itself, he writes, they may be less likely to make the kind of infrastructure investments or extensions to unemployment insurance that have helped float the economy in recent months.
