Irving in no rush to redevelop Texas Stadium site

As Texas Stadium comes down, Irving, Texas, officials say they are in no rush to redevelop the property. "We'll be very choosy, very selective," said Mayor Herbert Gears. "It's an important piece of property." The city owns the land. In the last five years that the Cowboys played there, the stadium poured $5.4 million annually into city coffers.
