Social-review site Yelp has been forced to "lift the veil" on its review-filtering system after claims that it had given preferential treatment to its advertisers. Yelp strongly denied any wrongdoing, but still took swift action to assuage its users' concerns -- and that holds a valuable lesson for all businesses, writes Chris Cameron.
