Restaurant owners hit the open road in search of new names

The latest trend in naming restaurants appears to be roadways. Several San Francisco Bay Area eateries have picked monikers tied to regions their cuisine comes from: A16 is named for a roadway in southern Italy, while French restaurant RN74 is named for a road in Burgundy. Some say the names are elitist and make the restaurants appear to cater to patrons familiar with foreign roadways.
