Study: Chocolate's smell is enough to lift spirits

Just a whiff of chocolate is enough to put people in a good mood, according to a study at Human Olfaction Laboratory at Middlesex University. "So far it seems that the smell of chocolate really does make people less stressed and anxious, and more relaxed," said researcher Neil Martin. Martin also found that the smell of premium chocolate elicited no more smiles than regular chocolate did.
