13 states roll out Medicaid EHR incentive programs

Thirteen states have kicked off their Medicaid EHR incentive efforts, with Missouri and Alabama being the latest to do so. But data from the CMS show progress has been slow, with some of the states having unknown launch dates and only six states having made incentive payments to eligible providers since the program opened in January.
